hey mate have you seen the polishing calais rims thread? If you follow the same process they should come up the same way.. i gotta ask you if you have seen pics of this done before though? They look pretty terrible, just like some dodgey 15 inch wannabe billets that you see on ****ty old kingy's imo.. but yeah each to their own if you wanna do it i suggest checking out the "polishing your calais rims" thread

I assume so, yes they are harder and no they won't come up like mirrors but i have definately seen them polished before so i'm gonna have to say yes.

Yes indeed they can be polished. I have seen a few examples around but only really look good if the centre cap is coated in chrome or something to match

Obviously they need a clear lacquer over the top to stop them rusting.

Yes they are harder and take abit longer to get shiny but u can actually get a mirror finish if u are prepared to put in the time and u will have to put a clear laquer over it as well. Personally I wouldn't bother trying to polish them though as it will take quite awhile to do and as previously posted they don't look right

you would be better off chromeing them than trying to polish steel, get a much better result, or just spray them silver with a $3 tin. would look alot bettah Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
