We have had the new version of the flat finished scuff plates to suit the VL Commodore for a few weeks now, and it is by far the best design we have come up with. After searching through countless numbers of VLs to find a perfect set to mimick, we finally found a NOS set at Smiths of Port Adelaide, thanks Pete and went about designing them. Most of the ones, we came across, were either warped, cracked, or parts missing from them. I can not take much of the credit for these, as my brother in law, designed and drew them up for us on INVENTOR (in his available spare time). We have incorporated several features into the scuff plate, but also, did not want to go over the top with different styles and themes. The major hurdle we had, was the angle of the section along the sill panel, this gave us the biggest headache, as we wanted them to since nice and flush, yet prominent aswell. We went through 5 - 6 prototypes, before this one was ticked off. We had originally decided to put the protruded lines into the design, but after making the sample, over 85% of people who saw the sample, were not happy with it, so we decided to make the plain version. This would allow you to either POLISH, ANODIZE or ENGRAVE them. Each kit consists of 4 scuff plates - 2 x FRONT and 2 x REAR Each has been milled to fit nice and perfectly each and every time. We have also incorporated a small secutiry feature into the design, where by the hard plastic door surround, fits into the scuff plate, making it much harder for passers by to steal. Furthermore, you can also use the factory metal clips to hold them down, or sikaflex, but not really necessary. RRP $249 per set If we can get a PRE BUY happening for 25 sets. Waiting time at the moment is about 4-5 weeks. $199 set A Deposit of $75 is required to confirm place. I will have some further pics installed on the car tomorrow. PRE BUY LIST 1. FIL30T **PAID** 2. i know on the first design that you were incorporating designs like the holden emblim or calais emblim ect. is this still available??

with the original design, we were incorporating the lines, that were in the factory items. Most people did not like them, so we opted for the flat finish, were people can get them engraved with patterns of their choice or emblems, as per their requirements Thanks Tarek RACESPEC
