Hey All, Its getting close to that time of the year, so we have decided to post up, and get our entries in ASAP. Basically, the sooner we get it in the better spot we get. For those that dont know, here is a bit of info about the event: Holden Vs Ford Show Returns Wigley Reserve Glenelg December 3rd 2006 After an almost 2 year Absence, this popular event will once again be staged. Feedback from Entrants over the past year or so has indicated a couple of things that we could do to improve the event for �Entrants� and we have changed the event to accommodate popular requests. The First and most important suggestion is to shorten the event to 1 Day only. This was an easy decision to make but the Showgrounds were not at all interested in that option. As many of you are aware the All Holden Day was another event we conduct annually and last year saw a drop in entrants from the Record 261 in 2004 to under 200. With this we have decided to merge the 2 Makes at Glenelg�s popular Wigley reserve and have the �Super Sunday�. We have negotiated with the Glenelg Council to have a slightly extended boundary to accommodate more Cars and this year we will have room for 300 display cars plus enough area for the regular Trade Stands & Food outlets. The Second most important suggestion was Trophies and this year we will be having a Trophy for every �Model Year� and the Trophies will be a nice Satin Silver Upright with Plaque and Logo on the Front�.they look good. The third suggestion is the closing time which will be shortened from 5pm to 4pm so we all get away earlier. The judging will start before the gates open to the public to ensure Trophy Presentation starts by 3.15. We will not be concerned if you are still there at 6, but the event will officially end at 4pm We will also be adding more entertainment and activities to the event plus a Dyno that is still to be Rubber Stamped by the Council but we do not believe there will be any issues there. That all adds up to a Great Event at the Bay that we all should enjoy. We thank you for your participation in past events and look forward to seeing everyone down at the Bay on Sunday Dec 3. Entry is only $25 (Includes Car, Partner & 2 Children), which is damn good for a car show. Buddy Passes are also available for $8. Would love to have all of our entries in before the end of this month, so we can get the best position available. Would expect to see most guys to come along, Jake, Coran, Alex, Possibly Nino, Rob, Daz etc But everyone is more than welcome. I will organize entry forms, and all the money to be sent off as one. Good to see some genuine interest guys, and its cheap, so its not going to be hard to scrape together the money. Added a couple of names/Photo's today.
