Hey mate, usually they will be pretty much a straight fit (bolt/unbolt) but a mate had issues with one brand (cant remember which one, i think pacemaker) where they had to be adjusted to clear the chassis rails about 3 times before they settled.
So my answer is yes, sometimes. Sorry, a bit pissed...
