The plastic mouldings on the back? Light sand 1200 wet (or 800 wet) Use an automotive Gray Scour pad and use that to sand the hard to get to places wet. Wash away mush and Dry off. Wipe over with a plastic reducer (there are diferent names for this product but its basically like prepsol for plastic) Blow air onto it to remove dust. Apply 2 to 3 coats of plastic primer. Alow coupla minuts between coats to tack off. Aply 2 to 3 coats of acyrlic gloss black.* Allow coupla minutes between coats to tack off. Tack off is allowing the paint to dry where it no longer looks as wet as when u first applyed it. The plastic primer should be of a viscosity that u use it straight outta the can. (always follow manufactures instructions) The gloss black just follow manufactures insturctions. Leave it sit for a day. Dont paint on a too cold day. (moisture in the air can be absorbed into the paint causing it to blush. Apperance with makes the paint look chalky/white) Dont paint on too hot a day. Paint drys to quick so may appear to peely and have dry grit like apperance from overspary not melting in. Also use black gloss acrylic. Cause if you need these instructions to paint something. Then your not ready to paint 2pak. *Plastic primer is clear and the plastic is black so u usually recomend painting somthing till its covered. Painting black on black it would cover in 1 to 2 coats. But it never hurts to put one extra one on to be safe.

sprint is on the ball, i would do it in 2pac tho mate as to get a nice clean finish you cant exactly sand it and buff it, as if you do it in 2pac the shine off the gun is the way it will stay good luck with it mate

also make sure you only apply light dust coats of plastic primer no thick wet coats of the stuff you only need just enough to cover it.

I remember the one on the boot has 4 or 5 clips and on those clips are lil holes for a philips head screw drivers. The ones on the side there are some clip/pins inside the boot. But i took mine of 2 years ago so someone else will be able to tell you more acuratly than me. Altho VL's r 20 years old so they could have been taken off before and glued back on with god nows what. And you want to paint it crome or paint over crome? Cause only crome stuff ive ever heard of is having something sent away to be cromed.

HWO DO YOU REMOVE THEM ALL? ive tried and it seems hard, i dont wanna brake them The top part you are talking about was chrome on the VK calais and on the VL they coated it in a plastic sorta material. I have no idea how you'd go painting over that stuff though... To remove the boot strip it is held in by some large clips on the underside of the strip and clip on to the boot lip. It is also held in by skinny pressure type clips all along the top, and most of the time these break, so you just have to carefully try to get those out one at a time. The side eyebrows are held on by 2 bolts in the tops (8mm I beleive) and about the little pins with a locking clip on the inside of the boot, remove the clips and bolts and they just come straight out. Be careful doing the boot strip half the time they are sikaflexed on around the top pins because they always break... Hope that helps...
