I have have recently relocated my catch can and when I did I noticed there was 50 odd mLs of a orange oilly water at the bottom. Now I know what you'd expect but my oil has no signs of water and my coolant shows no sign of oil so WTF. I thought maybe it could have been water vapour mixing with a little oil vapour from the engine. My catch can has never had showed signs of catching anything for 12 mths. For those whose catch cans fill up with oil slowly due to blow by etc, how does it look in the catch can. This stuff looks like 90% orangey water and 10% oil only.

If its venting to atmosphere your gonna have condensation (vapor changes to a liquid) in this case. Especially on cold mornings.
