anyone interested in these? thinking of getting some made up, not sure on price yet. uses your existing base, you pull your shifter apart and slide this on the top. they will be adjustable in lenth, attached by grub screws in the base. makes it easier and quicker to shift, and makes the gb feel notchier. Have one in my car, the other one i did quickly, very rough and not finished yet, but gives you an idea of what they are.

These shifters feel excellent, reduces throw by a mile, second to third is lightning. Nice thongs too...

are these any different from just cutting some of the shifter out and rewelding it.

cutting it where? factory there is vulcanised rubber between the top and bottom section, making it feel smoother i guess but taking all the feeling out of it. welding to the bottom section would have the same effect, yes.

i mean like _______________ thats the shifter and ____ ____ ______ cut the middle bit out and weld the outside bits back together making it shorter. ive heard this doesnt reduce the throw. what im trying to say is yours just a shorter shifter or does it reduce the throw. maybe you can explain how yours works.

no, this shifter does not modify the povit point so no, it is not a short throw kit. but it does slightly reduce travel by having a shorter shifter as it doesn't have to travel as far. it's mainly the extra feeling you get through the box, they are nicer to drive as you can feel them 'pop' into gear. niell> just got more boxes in, let me know if you want one.

ok, i have still not priced CNC ones but to turn them up myself is about $80. There seems to be a bit of interest so i will price CNC ones, people still interested if they work out around that money?
