I recently got my car full serviced and changed intercooler piping, and noticed that when my a/c is in OFF mode it makes a loud hissing noise ssssssssssssssss ... so i just put the mode to feet or face or wateva so the ugly noise could go away but air still comes out ... any suggestions? should i just disconnect i dont even use the thing....

sounds like a vacuum line has fallen off the back of the control in the dash.

^^^^ Agreed with the above, check the vacuum lines going into the back of the A/C Controls - 1 has probably come off.

Above where the heater fan speed switch is you'll see a single screw, undo it then pull the a/c & heater controls outwards and behind it there will be some little rubber tubes........check them for cracks or if one has fallen off. Two of mine were cracked and hissing also so I cut them a lil shorter with a pocket knife them simply plugged them back on.
