Did a search couldnt come up with anything and was talking to a mate who was telling me all about this car and the turbos it was using back in the day it cracked 7's...
After some pics of it launching, standing still, engine bay, anything!!
i had a good lenghty convo wth peter sammut,you will never know the specs of the turbo but he did tell me he was on boost instantly to do heads up racing...the car made 900hp in a full tube 300zx and ran a 7.9 sec pass against a big block v8.
I have a mag story on the car somewhere. If I can be bothered I'll try and find it in my vast collection.
I had a model 1/24th scale 300zx painted in their colours. Awsome car.
i was at willowbank when they crashed the car....
peter is part of andra,they make and design weather stations and all sorts of computer gizmos for racing and so on.
he lso mentioned he would be interested in building street/race engines again,but they are not cheap.
last i heard about these guys was that they had a chat with Taverna Jnr to build a new car if professional racing ever started in victoria again. ill ask Steve when i get a chance when his online if he has any other photo's as im pretty sure he has some and i think he talks with the bro's aswell.
