I have a VH commodore that is running dual fuel atm, the aim is to convert it to RB30DE using a VL K frame & RB25 head etc on straight gas (plan is to use an impco model E convertor & a GR throttle body carb). My question is in regards to the ignition side of things. Will I need to run an ECU at all? or will it not be necessary? If it IS needed, can I use a standard RB30 or Rb25 unit? Or do I have to get an aftermarket computer? (ignition only?)

You will definately need an ECU (ignition only). Unsure if the standard one will do.
