G'day, I have been using the help of the guide from converting your interior from Executive to Calais over the last couple of days, but it is incomplete. Due to this, there are some wiring problems I am having. I can't find where I am ment to plug in the plug that is located on the passenger side that comes from the main interior loom (Circled in picture 1). The 2nd picture provided is of the plug itself. I was told that on the Executive models, there is no where for it to be plugged into. Is this correct? The guide in the Technical Article section explains that wires are ment to be soldered into the fuse box, but the creator of the thread never updated this with pictures. Could someone please let me know what they have done in this situation, or either better put up some pictures or diagrams of what I am ment to plug in/solder? Thanks in advance , Jason.

If u only fitting the power windows and not the door locks or mirrors it's easy. U only have to connect the orange/blue wire to +12v and the black wire to the body. The way +12v is connected from the factory is from the battery supply (red wire from fusable link J near bat terminal) via a fusable link in the fuse box (not a blade fuse), then through a relay to the orange/blue wire. The relay simply turns on and off with the ingition, powered from fuse 12. If u r hooking up the mirrors it's just supply power to the pink wire from fuse 16 and another fuse. But the door locks have 2 relays in the fuse box so have 4 wires for them in that plug. Cheers

Thanks for your help man, I understand some of what you're saying. So I connect the... 1. Orange & Blue wire to a +12V power source (IE: Battery) 2. Black wire to the body (Like through one of them eye screw things?) ...and then the power windows should work? The 'Orange & Blue' wire is coming out of the plug plug where the plug from the interior loom normally plugs into in the calais (Because I have the wreck in the backyard) and there's also a Black wire the same thickness coming from the same plug. Do I just plug the 2 plugs together then us the 'Orange & Blue' and 'Black' wires like you said? I'm not overly concerned about the mirrors not working, but I wouldn't mind getting them going to sooner or later, so I'll work those out. Jason.
