18's and 19's are easy. 20's, 21's and even 22's will fit but will require moderate to extensive modification. It all depends on how badly you want them to fit.

It may rub, it may not. Me and my brother both have 18 x 9.5" wheels and his constantly rub but mine never do, even with a full carload. 18's look best by far on VL's bud, so go with them, not 17's. Jason. EDIT: Also, forgot to mention, suspension has alot to do with it. My car has Ultra Lows in the rear and Super Lows up front, whilst my brothers has Superlow in the rear and Standard height springs up front. Neither of us have adjustable panhard rods.

my VL is on its arse with 18 x 8 matrix rims lipped guards and panhard rod never scrapes even with 3 of my fat arse mates in the back. I trimmed a little off my rear bar in the top corner too as under full load it just touched on bumps

Im having the same problem but no amount of trimming seems to fix it! As with Reegan, mine didnt scrub till I lowered it either.

pfft 18's will rub for SURE if the cars lowered, unless somethings done to prevent the scraping. i just figured mine are rubbing, example? going around a round about.... and sometimes u might hear a rubbing sound from the rear (which ever sides getting the weight put on it..) also if i got only 1 person in the back... itll rub even more lol... also going down some drive ways, i cant turn whilst going down, as when i hit the road it the fronts will rub :P btw the cars running VYSS 17x8" wheels, dno what the suspension is, but the wheels are sitting in the guards a fair bit....... i should get my thingos rolled :/
