Hey, just been cruising this site and I like it, alot of information! Well I've just got my first car about 3 months ago and I was thinking of selling it later on and getting something like a VR Clubsport (a mate just got one and they're very nice..) So I was wondering, how much could I get for my VL Calais? http://img133.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img03533ik.jpg * It's a Series 2 1987 VL Calais (red over silver with beige/brown interior.. apparently this interior is rare for the red calais...) * I'd probably leave my head unit and 6x9's in, they are the Pioneer DEH-P5800MP head unit and Pioneer 400W 5-way 6x9's * New air flow meter, Splitfire spark plugs, Top Gun spark plug leads, new fuel regulator, new fuel pump, standard panel filter, new chromed head lights, chrome door handles (not on in that pic, just got them), blue neon lighting dash (yeah ricey but actually makes the dash look pretty shweet!), new exhaust fitted (only 2" standard, couldn't get hold of a 2.5", and they are the same price ), Sports steering wheel with genuine BOSS kit. * Interior is in very good condition, I can't see one stain on the seats! The body is very straight, the paint is nice, but is slightly faded in a few places... But it might be getting a paint job before I sell it, dunno.. * Engine runs nicely, has only 180,500ish KM's, auto.. That basically all I can rattle off the top of my head.. it's been serviced etc.. check it for rust, round the windows, check if the seals have bubbles under them, the water channel around the bootlid, bottoms of the doors.

Cheers Duff Ahh yeah forgot to say that, its got a little bit of rust around the front and back windows, but my dad will most probably fix that up anyway.. him and his mate have been working on it, bringing it up nicely.. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

If it was in Victoria you'd probably get 4-5K if the car runs very well.

Yeah it depends how much demand for VL's there are over there. Calais are rarer than lesser models so it should fetch around 4-5k with a RWC (you guys have rwc's over there?? LOL)

Ahh yeah fair enuff. Lol yeah pretty sure we have RWC's over here... Might have to get my car checked and get one sometime...
