i need to replace the oil in my box aswell heck knows when it was changed last

i put in manual gearbox oil or gear oil or some**** like that we had laying around, no difference, especially in a stocker, if u got some serious power i would be putting expensive stuff, but i wouldnt go spending that much oil, a gearbox is like 200 bux... why spend 75% of it on oil?

Hey guys can i ask a question sorry if its not on topic here but my 5spd manual gearbox has suddenly started 2 make a noise when only changing from 1st into 2nd in hi revs but it makes alil donk noise lol would it be the sincrones or howeva u spell it or should i try and change the oil and if it was the sincrones how much would they cost to fix would it be alot cheers

Does it do it all the time or just at higher revs? might have a couple of broken/worn teeth on 2nd gear.

i had that prob on the vl i had before my current jneva knew what i was but was only at high revs first to second and from 3rd back to second.. i was told it was the teeth but that ship has sailed
