Hello, i have recently purchased a vt calais and am happy with the stereo appart from id like to have a bit more bass. my question is; Does the standard 260w eurovox casette player (with 10stacker in boot) have pre-outs in the back of it? i could take it out but when doing so i want to only do it once so i thought someone might know? cheers everyone, any help would be great

NO it doesnt have preouts lad... What you have to do is get an amp that has High level input.... Basically involves wiring you speaker wires up to plug that goes into your amp instead of an RCA.... Honestly Buy a MP3 player and pocket... then go from there to much hassel.

PS wats with the lad comment?

Have a look on the ls1 forums and do a search, this is discussed in great detail of how to do this. Apparantly a unit needs to be purchased from Jaycar and soldered onto the back of it to give the pre-outs.

Go and get an MP3 unit... less mucking round, and that will have even better sound quality...
