VE Commodore wheels on a VL Turbo ??
Fitted some 19inch VE SSV Rims to my car yesterday....
A certain Holden engineer has choosen to make the hub diameter different on VE wheels so people don’t put them on old commodores to protect VE resale value etc…..
Well the VE has officially been on sale for 2 days and i've already put a set on my VLT
Have to machine hub area on the wheel on a lathe to enable them to fit on a VB - VZ commodore......

Dude the Stud Pattern is supposed to be different on the VE....
And has been confirmed by numerous companies, plus the offset of the rear rims is -57mm would be way off for a VL.... the front is -47mm
Not saying that you havent done it just a few things dont line up is all.
I think its a Chop. . . . . . . .
If it isnt THEN **** yeah ..... Holden 20's here I come.
More pics.............. right up close - Can you show us what part had to be machined??????
looks for real to me. Look at the color of the inside of the wheel. they orange ground and blu sky reflections add up, i say its for real. and looks good

He said in the first post the hub area was machined so it would fit over the VL hubs.

Whoever said that is talking crap!!! VE's have the exact same stud pattern as previous commodores. Only difference is the hub diameter, stud size and wheel nut size.....
Whats a chop LOL....
I'm planning on lowering it a bit more and adding a drop tank...
