Sorry I know this has been talked about in the V8 discussion a bit recently but I though I would ask the turbo experts a few questions� I am trying to work what�s involved in doing a twin turbo setup in my VL The motor is a VS injected V8. Here a pic of the space I have to work with� Already has headers on it, so was thinking of flipping them so they would point up to the free space at the front left and right where the CAI currently is. Then make up some mounts for the turbos and start plumbing� can�t be the hard, can it? What else do I need to think about? I know fueling will need to be done Any help would be appreciated Thanks Alex

i dont know much about v8's but im presumming a fair bit of work would have to be done. custome manifolds, piping, dumpipes, fuel setup, computer and probably alot more.

my mate is currently doing this to his vn, get on the net and do a search on 304 turbo setups, or 304 turbo kits , 304 twin turbo setup , u get hte idea, i've foudn a few, read abou them, it's not as hard as everyone makes out

Yeah it doesnt seem that hard to me. What about external wastegates, and what turbos to use. It will be on standard motor to start with and 10-12lb boost... more boost once motor is built tough

Im Sure CAPA in SA has a turbo kit for the 5L V8!!! Someone correct me if im wrong!!! I think i got a Brocher somewhere.. just looked through the CAPA product catalogue 2004-05 and theres only a Vortech/Powerdyne Supercharger Kit For the 5.0 and 5.7L Holden engines. Power From 165kw to 340kw.. Theres muliple combinations of superchargers, such as quiet ones and Madd whinning ones..Hi PSI Ones, ect. Kits start From 4,985.00 Then again... Ur after a twin turbo setup... Not to mention CAPA do Custom Setups aswell..Give em a call and hav a word with them... go and speak to john @ bresciani, he has done a single turbo setup on a 5litre efi.. its insane!!! car is there to look at for yourself also. He has done some twinturbo setups in the past, i just picked up my vnss from there after get microtech and its done wonders they did a ****en awesome job and im also thinking of single turbo/twin turbo setup but will most likely go a blower.. great advice and great work no bull****ting around you'll get the answers you need.
