Hey I was wondering if anyone here knows of anyone in Radelaide who has experience with out of the ordinary/performance LPG conversions. Ive been impressed by what i've seen of GAS-747 but Im thinking it may be a slightly more complicated job with the later engines. I would love to have my RB25 on gas and if it could be done well, theres got to be a ****load of benifits-especially as little johnny howler wants to give everyone a $2000 rebate to get it done! I've rang around a bit but it seems like no one has tackled this b4....am I mistaken?

adelaide is hopeless for any performance modifications with gas. A mate has a rb30 patrol that is on gas and bought a turbo kit for a bit more go. but wanted to keep gas for economy. He rang every gas conversion place in adel enquiring about getting it tuned with a turbo. they all said no ring so n so. n so n so. I told him to ring bresciani, they said it can be done but goes out of tune and need readjusting every 3-5 months With no one keen to even look at it in adelaide he sold turbo kit

A couple of questions worth throwing around and thinking about... Whats it worth to go gas injection these days? 2k from little jonny will go a long way to helping with the conversion. Have they now got injectors suitable (large enough)? http://www.gas-injection.com/ The quality of lpg these days isn't as good as the old days... Octane vary's so a safe tune will be required.

Its not up-front. If you pay to have Gas installed after 14th August, then from the 1st October you are eligible for the $2000 'Rebate' That means you pay it, & then go to medicare & they give it back. D. Well I've done a fair bit more ringing around and spoke to gas research in Vic. They are booked out till MAY NEXT YEAR!! I don't like my chances of finding someone to work out a custom setup when they have so much business in 6 cyl falcodoragnas lining up.....sigh....
