Just throwing this out there but are we orginised enough to get a ct drag day at heathcote,I was just going to see what responce this thread gets and then throw it around for ideas,maybe close to end of year!maybe put groups together like our drag page and let them race together! i dont know but sounds good maybe we can do this,what do you guys think?or is it all to hard

we've been wanting to do one for ages.. either heathcote or calder.. but $$$ and numbers is something that is iffy with us.. we need allot of confirmation that we can't get.. hopefully we do do it, but will have to involve a few clubs/forums and not just CT.. unless we are prepared to pay a fortune per entry... I have a few people getting info, but always fizzles towards the end.. I'll have to get on it myself i think Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I'd be there. Its only $40 to race on a saturday if you book the place out at heathcote. If we mix it up with other forums then a turn up of 50 cars would be piss easy. The Ford forums gets at least 50 everytime now.

If we only need 50 cars surely CT can do it? We had 118 VL's at the last cruise after all

Hi I'm a long time member of Justcommodores.com and they were wanting to have a heathcote day but numbers and definates were a problem. If JC gets an invite i'm sure 10+ cars will attend. We aren't allowed to have any cruises in VIC through JC as of yesterday because some dikhead brought his mate along to a mini meet and thought it would be fun to do burnouts in a busy area in front of witnesses. It has wrecked our next cruise for the rest of us. I'll come down to heathcote in my mighty NA and try for a lightning fast mid 16 sec pass LOL

Myself and quikvl have spoken about this in members area and have the info for heatcote ect...... but its very hard to book at the moment after i called them everyone and there dog hires that joint aint that right Qickvl other thing is would you all want just a commodore drag day or invite other clubs!!! as if ya couldent get 50 vls to race and another 50 to put there cars on the grass for a show and shine!! what would be the point of orginiseing the day with 14,580 members 100 cars should be a reachable then if it was just vls someone could maybe video it all and make a dvd os somthin

Id be if for sure, i could find mabe 4 or 5 more cars. I really dont think numbers is going to be a problem.

we could bring easy 5-10 cars to race from jspec.

im defnitly up for a track day! just unfortinaly at a bad time, defected and had to provide a roady, no money left :/

yep,im sure i could organize with my mates a couple of 9-10 sec gtr's and a half dozen vl's.
