1. Remove panhard rod and diff cover 2. empty oil from diff 3. crack each bolt that holds the crown wheel on (left hand thread) use a hammer and breaker bar 4. remove wheels, brakes and un-do axle bolts and remove axles (just put the drum back on backwards and do up 3 nuts half way down the thread and use it as a slide hammer 5. un-do bearing retainer bolts 6. pull out complete centre after marking with whiteout where everything lines up with each other (take note of how the shims are sitting etc.) 7. Un-do the pre cracked crown wheel bolts and remove crown wheel 8. knock out the roll pins that hold the pinions with a pin punch (get new ones if you can) 9. punch out the pinions with a larger pin punch and the centre should come apart 10. remove the spider gears and replace with the spool 11. punch the pinions back in, put the split pins back in 12. bolt the down wheel back up (taking note of where you marked its position) 13. put the centre back in the way it came out and do-up the retainer bolts 14. put axles back in and do-up the axle bolts 15. put diff cover back on, fill with about 1.5L of fresh diff oil 16. put panhard rod and brakes and wheels back on and go for a spin Make sure both rear tyres are the exact same size, be ready to replace axles and tyres, and go nice and easy around tight corners. HAVE FUN! You will hate the smell of diff oil very soon!
