hey all , just getting my prices together for a assembled 355 stroker bottom end for my VR commodore and found these bottom ends assembled by PAVTEK , was wondering if anyone out there has used them or heard of anyone using them? One of my mates thinks i can get a 355 stroker bottom end from COME racing exchange for around the $3500 mark (seems just a little too cheap),was wondering if anyone has an idea on the prices for COME exchange bottom end.Thanks.Pete.

I've heard of a few motors from PAVTEK costing a packet, lasting 15 passes and going big bang. Haven't witnessed it first hand though..

Easy11's has a pavteck motor. has run a 10.8 i think i think they are good. every work shop gets a good and bad wrap. if the motor isnt run in properly of course its going to blow up.

Old boss used to have a Yellow F100 Pick-Up, with a PAVTEK engine it it, went real good, and sounded tuff as.

Highly recommend them, a couple of my mates, had there engines built at pavtek. They all go really well and had NO problems with them at all.

Yeah, like door slammer engines are run in before there 5 second pass. Everything ive heard about pavtek are good but you have to expect there to be one or too mishaps. all it takes is to not ring one or two pistons correctly and I've witnessed them break, On start up, and that was from a reputable shop. things have to be pretty precise on big horsepower engines and i guess a few guys have got unlucky when friday afternoon, old mate joe has an hour to before finishing and is thinking about the weekend and should have double checked he had tightened those rod bolts!
