Hey everyone... Im putting a mini spool in my old diff center and im finding it extremly hard to actually remove the bolts holding the crown wheel/gear in place... Has anyone got any suggestions on how to remove them? I've got the center out of the diff housing at the moment... should i put it back in and try from better support? Any suggestions? thanks in advance for your help!

Put the centre back in to the diff. do up the retaining bolts a little so it doesnt move. Get a small breaker bar and socket and a hammer. And just tap the breaker bar with the hammer until they come loose. And REMEMBER they are left hand thread, so undo them clockwise. From there just punch out the small split pins that hold the pinion in place and then punch them out, remove the spider gears, put the spool back in, put the hemishpheres back together and bolt her all back in!
