I'm thinking about getting an ajustable fuel regulator fitted but I'm getting conflicting information from different workshops. I've visited 3 workshops and 2 of them told me to use the Sard regulator and one said the Malpassi regulator. I've heard that the Malpassi ones makes the car run realy rich so I'm wondering what the Sard one is like and what other fuel regulators people recommend. Is fuel economy sacrificed when off boost?

Depends on what you wanna pay, cheapest option would be to get a malpassi but put it in between the standard reg and the fuel return line to the boot. This lets the malpassi control pressure but doesn't flog out as quick cause the standard one is taking the brunt of the pump pulse. I have a malpassi and they only put more fuel in on boost, no/small load driving has the exact same pressure as the standard reg.

i have seen malpassi's go out of adjustment and lean out. not sure if they are better now or not. personally i'd go the sard. if you do get a malpassi mount it on the body of the car not on the engine like the stock regulator as they are sensitive to vibration.

Well looks like I'll be getting the sard regulator. Just have to wait till my tax money comes. I thought the new regulator would take the place of the stock one.
