Just thought ide show you a couple of quick picks of my latest little comfort mod. So far i only have the front seats in as the back is being modified to fit. There out of a VY II S Pack.

yeah my bro put some new ss ute seats in his vl and im quite jealous!. calais seats suck bigtime

yeah did it all myself, and also still retains the electric drivers seat. Once all the interior is finished i'll post up some more pics of it all. Soon to be doing the carpet, door trims, console, dash, hoodlining and parcel shelf.

looks good man. would be interested to know how much work was involved in doing the seats. any chance of a tech article??

yeah i could probably muster up a bit of a tech article but i got no where to host pictures for it to go with it.

i just have to ask...was it all done legally or was there mutilation/fabrication involved? i wanted to put VT seats into mine but was told it couldnt be done legally, so i settled for VS seats

ok, yes it has been done to a legal standard and would easily pass an engineers inspection, the top and bottom of the floor has been reinforced where the seats bolt in. But i have not had it inspected yet, i'm waiting till all mods are done then i'm going to get it all inspected in one go.

yeah just write up a few lines and get some pics up. just do like you did with the pics up the top. there are a lot of people including myself who want to do this. did you need to do anything like weld or angle grind much, cos that could make it a little hard for some of us. unfortuneatly i didnt get many photos of when i did it but i have to take the seats out again soon to put new carpet in, i'll get photos then of the bases of the seats.
