Hey guys Would anyone be able to tell the the resistance across the air regulator harness and the actual air regulator or if you don't know and want to check your car it would be greatfully appriciated. Thanks very much Aaron

I'm only guessing here, but from previous experience it will be somewhere around 50 ohms or less. It's just a heating element so its not critical. Why are you measuring resistance across the harness?? You should be measuring voltage at the harness (12v after ign. has been on for 5 secs). If you don't have voltage at the plug, then check it at the ecu. If you have voltage at the ecu and none at the plug, THEN check the resistance of each wire from the ecu to the plug individually with the ign off.

nah mate i wanna know the resistance across the harness with the car off as i'm getting a reading of 2.5 ohms but from looking at a schmatic it looks like it could have something to do with the fuel pumps. Can someone verify the resistance across the air regulator as mine ins showing infinity ohms.

Infintity is open circuit, so your regulator is shagged. With the fuel pumps, fuel pressure solenoid, and O2 sensor still plugged in, 2.5 ohms is feasible because they are all still connected in parallel. You will run into trouble testing resistances in a circuit with multiple loads - unless you unplug them all. If you've got 12v at the regulator and it shows open circuit when disconnected from the loom, it's obviously stuffed.
