KMS: 182,000*
GEARBOX: T5 5 speed w/hyd. clutch, and new clutch plate and machined flywheel. Tailshaft has recently been engineered costing... alot.
PAINT: red over silver (good condition)
BODY: straight all over, minor rust in boot (typical VL) windscreen rust recently cut out professionally by TJ spray painters.
SUSPENSION: 'Super Low' King springs all round with GT shocks + ADJ. pan hard rod.
EXHAUST:Lukey extractors with Lukey sports muffler 2.5" straight through.
INTERIOR: Grey velour 9/10 condition
STEREO: SONY HEAD UNIT w/6x9's in rear shelf and something stock in front. includes alpine 'S' type sub with alpine V-POWER AMP.
TYRES: Hankook 225/60/15 (legal)
All electrics work, power windows are still pretty nippy.
OTHER INFORMATION:
Items recently replaces in the engine are-
has a brand new head and when this was done the machanic pulled the motor completly to pieces and replaced all coreplugs and seals. the radiatior was also replaced along with the thermostat.
All injectors have also been done more recently due to 2 becoming faulty.
Car has the original calais diff with disc brakes.
Washer and overflow bottles are in good condition which is rare.
Engine bay is immaculate but hasnt been detailed to death. its naturally clean

I sold a mint manual Calais for 8K a couple of years ago, heaps of people have paid up to 6k for stock calais on this site in the last few years, so price sounds right to me??

Yeah, I wasn't saying it was an unreasonable price, just everyone was bagging him saying it's too much. I think it's a pretty average price for a nice calais, I paid more than that for my old cal, though that was a few years back.

i paid $8000 for mine, stock vl calais series 2 "87" with new paint from a caryard.
so sounds very good imo, i would be interested if i had the money
