Hey fellas im looking for qoutes to get my car resprayed in the factory morning blue colour ! Car is completely stripped ! no door handles, locks, moulds, windscreens etc car is very str8 and clears has been rubbed down with 800 . There is a few 10-20c size dings minimal rust and I have searched the car thoroughly for this ! Do u guys think i could get a 2pac professional respray for $3k ?? what are ppl s thoughts and can anyone recommend any workshops?? Andrew

3k would be enough for a redpray if you hadnt sanded it down and removed all the door handles ect... now tht its like that, i think you could get a respray for about $1500

Depend's who you take it to, but I'd say $3k is gonna cover a panel prep/respray. As for recommendations, there's too many! Just have a look in the Yellow Pages for a workshop closest to you. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

could get a half decent job, but you need to make it clear what you want for 3 grand and ask what there going to give you for that much money.

well guys I had a panel beater/painter come to my house check out the job ! he was happy to take it on qoute is $2500-3000 I have seen his work im very impressed ! for guys that want to respray a car i reccomend if u got the time strip the forker down makes it more appealing to the painter etc i think i saved my self $500 very happy boy ! sounds fair dude but as quoted you get what ya pay make sure it is clear to him b4 he starts the job !!! cos when its finished and you find stuff they have missed, if you dident point it out to them they will say > quote ....you dident say ti fix that best of luck to ya

I got a mate who will do it much cheaper than 3K. it will look good if ur body is straight. Hes got access to a full booth etc. more about the $1000 mark…

any1 know any beaters in melb good for VLs ?, to do a respray without engine bay job, body is straight! platinum gold colour like warng or platnm.
