*edit* my motor is a turbo motor not n/a i now know that i have a line running from the surge tank to purge is has a diaphram on it.. is this right? and that i should connect my t/b to a signal vc and connect my plenum to the other purge where on the intake does it come from? i have this line comen from the plenum near the coolant bleed, is this the one to hook up to the purge? should it have this diaphram on it? should there be a hose underneath the charcoal cannister?

the service manual doesnt have the same one that is in my car (perhaps a turbo canister) i dont know but it appears looking down from the top the ones on the right with the top and bottom hose- top hose is vacuum control and bottom is purge line, could easily be wrong Not sure if this is correct because its blocked on mine. Searched through 7 volumes for ya shows not a huge amount of info.

i have a fuel tank line in the middle then i have a purge line to my stock surge tank which leaves me a another purge line and a signal vc line....... does the plenum line go to the purge line or signal vc? where does the throttle body line go from? and it would hafta go to either the purge line or signal vc line depending on where that plenum line mentioned above goes

The signal vc line goes to the throttle body, so the purge line goes to the plenum. My understanding is that when the engine is in vacuum (via the signal vc line), fumes are drawn into the plenum (via the plenum line suprisingly enough!) to be combusted.
