the other day i changed the spark plugs in my car and that damn plastic intake pipe from the throttle body was in the way so my dad took it off howeva he broke the hose conection that goes from the back of that plastic piping its the hose that goes into the rocker cover now the car wont idle theres a huge air sucking noise and the car just dies its not the plugs but car wont idle keeps stalling sucks alot of air and blowing a bit of black smoke now is this becasue of that broken air pipe or something else cheers

if you are talking about the pipe that comes from the plastic intake to the back engine breather then yes this will make your car do as you have stated. What I did was got a piece of pipe from a brake master cylinder off of a wrecked car and put it there. You do need to cut it down and get it so that the bend isnt so pronounced. But it works at treat and best of all cost me nothing.

simply block the little pipe that comes off the inlet pipe with a bolt and silicone sealant and buy a small breather filter and fit it to the the tappet cover ..looks trik !!!..can post a pic if u want ..

or get another plastic intake piece...

I broke mine too, I just glued another piece of plastic tube in there.

i replaced the intake pipe and brought a new house etc same thing could it be something went wrong when i replaced the spark plugs ?

yep, you might not have put your leads back on properly, or you could have stretched and damaged them....i've spent so much time frigging round with things when it was just the leads....bloody leads....!!
