Hey guys, I was reading a few threads on ecu's and engine number, about what computer should be with what engine and I thought I should check mine out. I just bought a second hand auto VL calais turbo and checked the engine number, it ends with A8, so yeah its a turbo engine. So I checked the computer, and I read that it should be 3TA on a yellow label, but it has ECCS on a blue label. Can anyone clear this up for me, is it a turbo computer? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

3TA= 3ltr Turbo Automatic 3TM= 3ltr Turbo manual 3EA= 3ltr EFI automatic 3EM= 3ltr EFI manual quite logical labelling really

some only have numbers on them, 50, 51, 52, 53. Cant remember which is which.

This probably would be the reason why it was ruuning like a hairy dog when the bloke I bought it off had it, because there was no turbo in it, but had a turbo computer. I have bought one now though and will chuck it in when I fix up a few dings.
