Hi there, This is not an advertisement, this is an Expression of Interest to see if any of you are interested in participating in a track day at historic LAKESIDE (QLD). The facilities consist of both Racetrack and Skidpans. Both areas can be run simultaneously. I am not looking for a committment, only a guide to see if there's interest there and if the numbers stack up, we can organise it. I look forward to your ideas and thoughts.

You cant organize these guys for a run at the karts with a weeks notice....... Give em six months if you wanna get everyone there at the same time on the same day in the same month in the same year....... Those brissy boys with the exception of exchaser and osk are f uckin worse than women...... Like I said good luck...... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

The costs are affordable. You'll spend less than $200 but we need the numbers to make it all happen. Once we get a few yes', I'll start a list here and when we're all satisified with the numbers, we'll get the day organised. Quote: Originally Posted by VLT87 id take the r32 out for a go. We'd love to accommodate you but unfortunately, burnouts are one thing that will never be a goer at Lakeside. Noise is the issue, especially as it cools down in the afternoons the sound travels further. Cheers Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

In fact, I'd be surprised if he even knew about it. It was our company Total Driver who got access back to Lakeside. We have used the facility for open sprint days, driver training days and even the Australian Launch for the BF Falcon and SY Territory. We used to be based at Darlington Park before it closed down! Cheers,

Get this s hit outa here and in the advertisers section Guys, I can delete the post and the Invitation if that's what you like! It's not like we don't already have enough work, just thought locals may be interested in knowing that the track was open again and they may want to be a part of it. If I was in that part of the world atm I would be there in a flash. Absolutley love Lakeside, used to race my bikes there in the mid 90's and have done the odd lap or 2 in the VL, need balls of steel to go fast there, nothing like the 4 wheel drift going under the Dunlop bridge with the wall 10 feet off to the left not being able to lift off or you'll get beaten on the run to hungry.....

Do you know the Van Vliet boys? They raced bikes there around the same time.

^^^ Doesn't ring any bells, but then again I'm hopeless with names, usually pitted with Mick (RIP) and Leo Cash, don't remember many names of others.
