Hi Guys Gearbox advice needed. I just purchased an VH Commodore with a 2850 engine and an M76 gearbox, sadly the gearbox synchro's are stuffed. As it happens I have a spare and I believe good MC6 (Philipino box) from a UC 6 cylinder Torana will this fit OK? I hear M76 parts are hard to obtain? Cheers Herne

No such thing as an LH Commodore, I assume you meant to say Torana Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

The Phillipino will fit so long as you have the 6 clyinder bellhousing, but dont drop the clutch, you will split the case!

Thanks for that, its the answer I was looking for This car is a shopping trolley not a burn out/wheelie machine. I have a Full on Torana and am about to start building a drag car for that kind of abuse Cheers Herne Quote: Originally Posted by JET-6 The Phillipino will fit so long as you have the 6 clyinder bellhousing, but dont drop the clutch, you will split the case!
