Hey all
Have recently changed my na drums to discs from a vn v8 wagon. Keeping my axles and so on, the wagon handbrake cable was short by about an inch, the drum one is to long, i can crank the adjustment almost right to the top and it doesnt pull the caliper very well alowing the car to slip.
My question......is the calais disk cable the right size or are there other alternatives.
Cheers
Rhys

The Calais/VLT cable is what your after. I bought one last week from Holden, they retail for $94 but I managed to talk them down to $70.
How did you go about bending the metal brake lines to reach the calipers?

didnt have to, used the solid lines and they mounted to the factory brackets on the backing plate, the caliper hose then mounted to that. There were 3 different fittings from the solid line to the connection above the diff housing, that was the only issue i ran into....and the cable. you wouldnt have the part no for the cable would you, they should be the same in NZ
