gearbox light blue??

i had a look underneath my vlt today and noticed my sump and gearbox are painted in a light blue colour, just wondering if its like a aftermarket box (i.e king springs are apinted yellow)??

dude, mine is like that as well????? i always wondered why, so thanks for asking. i would post pics, but my car was written off thursday, and no longer mine...oh well

probably painted blue by the previous owner/ some companies paint parts of motors/trans/torque converters so peploe can easily see where they got them from i.e pro converters are painted a dark bluey/grey.
