Ok basically I think the extractors im using are causing my fuel mixture to be out because the oxygen sensor is a fair way down the pipes. Now, Basically Im looking for the bang for buck at fuel economy. What oil do you use and what weight the oil is? Manual or Auto? Diff gears? What octane fuel? Dyno tuned or regular tune? How many kilometres to a tank? Anyways thanks in advance guys. I would also ask if you have pictures of your extractors and where the oxygen sensor sits, please post them up. Munro-

i know this is way off topic probably. i got extractors on mine. i just realised this week. i filled tank up to the brim. ive gotten 420km's and i still got just under a 1/4 left.

How many kilometres to a tank? - royal purple. - manual. - 3.45. - tuned on 98 optimax. sometimes put in extreme 100. - dyno tuned. - 550km. your o2 sensor could be stuffed, or the afm.

well the afm was checked and at 384ohm and the o2 sensor would be lucky to be 6 months old. The reason I am asking these questions is that I think MAYBE it has something to do with gear ratios, oil and tune. I only just had a tune, so Im hoping its not that, but very well could be cos they did a **** job.

inbetween 100-110 Im doing roughly 3k RPM. Ive done a diagnostic check and everything checked out. The car was tuned only 2 months ago, if that. I also know that my diff ration is 345. I just had the *******s installed. Injectors Im not too sure of. Doesnt seem to be any fuel around the injector. This is why im trying to see what others are using and looking to find something to change to maybe beef it up a bit.

at 100km/h your revs should be at 2100rpm, with overdrive on and 345 gears, but around 3000rpm if your overdrive is off, so if you have over drive on and its still sits at 3000rpm, means you got lower gears

dude I just said I had 3.45 gears. And yes my rev ranges are exactly as u stated.

ok mate i wasnt trying to mock you, but there is alot of ppl that swear they have something and they dont, i meant no offence at you at all just trying to help out but if you have 3.45's then one of the sensors somewhere must be gone, you will have to go through alot of testing and trial and error Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

all good mate. I just spent $300 on changing the gears and new bearings. But I just done a diagnostic test on the ECU and it says that everything is working fine...... Go figure. I think the number 1 injector might be leaking into the engine rather than out of the top. But who knows?

disconnect the injectors one by one when its idling and see what happens there, if the injector is leaking into the engine you will be running very rich, and will be carbon on the inside of your intake runners, also is your cat a standard or a bashed one ?

It does drop down 1k RPM if I turn the PWR button off mate. I just usually drive it in power. and yes I am contemplating a full dyno tune on the damn car.

oops, forgot to to read the last bit of your post at the start. my extractors a funny, the o2 sensor sits on the 6th runner and thats all it dose. i have a ECU to manage things a sh*t load better.

pictures speak a thousand words. AND why do u have aftermarket management on an NA? Also what type of management is it?
