Crap title..umm, all I wanted to say after being out weekend last I have never been in a car that seems to attract so much attention from all age groups.
I've owed heaps of nice VLs...HSV VPs and I can honestly say that I've never had a group of mechanics follow me as I reversed out of their garage, watch me wait to get a break in the traffic to pull out and then move onto the curb (and one onto the road) as I drove off into the distance.
Spun me out actually.
How hard would it be driving a stretched Walky into a servo with a steep driveway Craig?bad enough with a normal sized one.I've never had strangers follow/stalk me in my Walky but when i leave it parked in public i have caught people taking pics and i'm cool with that-i agree they stand out in a crowd and happy the Walky has lost its UGLY tag they recieved back in 1988.
Yer whenever i take mine out people stare everywhere old or young. Not use to seeing such a car i guess. When i take mine on drives and leave it parked(where i can see it) i see people going up looking at the interior and taking pics on there phone too!
A good trick is when i park mine and sat where i could see it i would set the alarm off if someone got too close to it-i know its mean but better than handprints or scratches.A talking car alarm would be fun.
I've never been one to worry about where I park and that...some guys are anal...and now so am I...I now understand why they behaved in such a manner
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
its not too bad with the walky limo, as the front is raised alot higher than a std walky, as it's just not practical... its more of a worry about it bottoming out, as its so long going up a steep incline..... turning it around can be tricky also.... You cant rely on what passengers say, as they dont know what its like to drive and manouvre the car
