Hi all just fitted my Blitz electronic boost controller,K&N pod filter, boost gauge on the weekend.I'm currently running 9psi and wow what a difference it has really woken the RB30 up.My question to you guys is should i run a tad more boost with no intercooler, or should i wait until my cooler is fitted? Cheers Lee

wait till u got a cooler then boost it to 14psi that will open your eyes dont boost it till the cooler is on, or u wont "feel" the power as much.

no point boosting it more with no intercooler, to risky for little gain. Wait to you get a cooler, you will learn to love your car all over again Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Looks like it will be staying on 9psi til my GKTECH intercooler arrives.Still plenty of poke so i think i should be able to hold out a month or so. Cheers Lee Quote: Originally Posted by Wyndup Boost it, you know you want to... Yeah i do want to Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

its worth holding out, other wise when u raise the boost to 14 u might not be able to feel a difference.

if you boost it with no cooler get ready for a engine rebuilt, well thats wat happen to me , oh you'll feel the defference alright but its not worth it. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

my rebuilt 13 has been running 15 for the last 2 years, and it ran open boost before that. Sweet as anything, no shaft play, no oil blowing through.

12psi with no cooler is like 9psi anyway due to increased iar temps. get the cooler a sit on 14 all day, every day.
