The auto and manual spigot bushes are different, if that's what you're asking?

There is an insert in the back of the crank on your old motor you just need to pull it out and put it into your new one

the auto's have a large bush that hang's out the end of the crank, and the manuals have a small bush that is inside the crank, so you need to remove the manual spigot and get a new auto spigot and fit it.

oh ok thanx guys, the tool from autobarn said there was no such thing as a spigot bush for an auto so i presumed the manual crank had been tampered with.. cheers Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

You can buy spigot pullers they have two arms to hook the spigot so it comes out even .If you use a slide hammer with 1 arm it will be harder to get out

you can also use a tap and screw it in to the bush and keep turning it till i reaches the back of the crank and that will cause the bush to be pushed out.
