30-09-07, 22:56 GMT+10#10 Nice car mate. I used to have one of those super charger set up on my calais brought it off CRS but had no success with it when i first brought it put it on had no where to put my pwr steer pump. sic. so i rang them up they never answer the phone and then said that you have to make a custom bracket because the vl they tested on had manual rack. any way got the car running after doing head gasket and putting the metal shim in with two head gaskets like they reccomend took it for a drive and it had better torque as i see from your burnouts but i found not much faster than a standard engine i also found the crossover pipe hit the strut tower where the outlet of the sc goes up to the intake. After driving it as well for five minutes the crossover pipe was so hot you could not put your hand any where near it. i dont know about you but by the time i spent close to two grand was not impresed so pulled the whole engine out and sold it for fourteen hundred. then i found out the sc they sell is off a 2 liter six from a toyota there is no way thats going to pump enough air for a 3 litre motor no wonder it did not go any good.after that i went turbo and never looked back. just my two cents.

01-10-07, 00:28 GMT+10#11 Hey man, I've been riding around in this car and driven it too for the last few days - goes much better than i expected dan! love the manual, it's the way to go for sure.
I'm still at his place his new clutch is going in tommorow, the standard N/A one hasn't lasted but did us proud
When the new fuel pump goes in should make a few good changes with the new injectors already - having a bit of ECU trouble his new mapped one isnt doing the job.

01-10-07, 09:19 GMT+10#12 thats good as long as your happy mate thats all that counts just take into consideration thats a little sc off a 2 litre and your engine is 3 litre you can improve the set up but i think the performance will be the same no matter what you do. but stick with it if thats what you like.
