The boys at work have just come back from VE Training....... Guess what VE is supposed to be carrying a different stud Pattern to all other V series of the generals finest... In other words, those sexy new 20'' rims due for the HSV or 19's off the SS-V, Forget about putting them on you VL, VN, VT whatever.... Bummer

I heard the bolts match up, but you have to grind something off? that sucks if they totally dont even fit........ Actually, I'm sure there were spy shots of VE with VZ wheels?????

I heard it was the offset that was different not the stud pattern, something about needing to change it to accomodate the different wheel track

holden wont change a stud pattern. they havent for years and years, it'll be a different offset.. like ford. up until EL, the falcon used the one offset. when AU came, they changed.

I hope I am wrong about this but VE will have a unique stud pattern. I have been informed by both the lads who went down to training. NO manufacturers have got wheels for the VE in the after market world.

bolt on PCD changers. $100 each. Fit any wheel you want. And holden wouldnt do that, because you see, its not economically viable for them to go and make drastic changes like that... Think about how many left over interceptor rims would go to waste if they couldnt slip em on the VE and wack some hubcaps on Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

yeah they are going for 16inch ceptors, cuz they are getting bigger brakes and the standard 15inch wont fit.

We are being told otherwise, Direst from Holden. There are no after market rims to suit VE at the moment. As to go even more drastic. The front suspension has changed too. It aint nothing Like the original Macpherson struts anymore. We will just have to wait and see. Stud Pattern has changed, I am just trying to chase up exactly what it is.
