Any1 know any specs on the 425 impco strait gas throttlebodys..
i had that on my mild 308 on a vh before hand.. after doing things onto the motor am expecting about 350 horses at the motor.. will the carby keep up.. and also the converter
thanks guys
probably not. we've built a few motors, and just used two of those, with a twin carby manifold adapter and two converters
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

wats the special manifolds worth?
very intersted to know what else could be used instead of a single IMPCO carby or twin carby set-up.
as i have a similar package to horze21's, 308 running vn heads, solid cam, hiwinder manifold ect what would be good to use as a carby? i know of GRA twin throttle bodies but the budget cant afford it at the moment.
modified quadrajets? holley 600 vacs? just some examples, let me know what you believe would be the best package or of anyone else that has done a similar set-up to get some decent go out of it.
ive heard there are ways to modify the 425 ti increase flow, so i think with 2 convertors and a modded 425 it should supply the required air. its got something to do with drilling holes somewhere etc, ill try and find out more.
plus there are different sizes, a 5ltr one and a 7ltr.
Using better pump gas will do it too, liek the straight propane which is available on pump from BOC.
