ladys and gents
im spewing cause i just sent my head unit away on friday and just realized that there was a car audio part to the forum, im still new so forgive the ignorance.
i was playing with the setting on my amp the other day and then while listening to music i was turning the volume up slowly and my head unit just died. its a pioneer deh-5550mp if that helps, just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what the problem could be other than the fuse cause i checked it and replaced it even though it looked ok.
any help would be appreciated...thanks guys

If u sent it out to them they will fix it and send it back. Personally i wont touch a pioneer or sony head unit.....but ive had bad experiences, 2 of my mates swear by them....
Did u check ur wiring to make sure it wasnt exposed or possibly earthing on the cradle?
Thats bout the only thing i can think of for it to switch off for no reason, unless there was dirt on the detachable face contacts....
