Alright guys, here it is... Hasn't been a VL cruise up here for too long I reckon, so it's about that time! Here's the plan. Meet at Sportscene carpark on Wool**** St at 1pm. I'll try get there a bit earlier and bags a whole heep of parking spaces. From there we will cruise to Palleranda, and have a BBQ (if we can find one where no one is). This will be BYO and everyone can just stand around talking the vl talk, take photo's etc etc. Hopefully this will last an hour or two then we can go for a cruise to the Strand, do a few laps then proceed to leave and maybe go down to the Broadwater and try to fit all the cars in to take a few good photo's (Unless someone suggests a better place to go to take photo's). Then we can cruise back through town, maybe down Ross River Road, we'll just work thing's out as the day goes along. Hopefully this will finish up sometime in the afternoon, then everyone can go home, get fuel or whatever and we will work out a meeting point and time for whoever wants to go to the drags that night. Then cruise out to the drags. Bring along a camera or video camera if you have either, I want to try and compile a video like the Qldstreetscene.com ones, they are alright. If you have any queries just PM me or ring my mobile on [phone removed], just ask for Jason. Also, print out the flyer and hand it out to any pretty vl's you see out and about (I tried to do this last night but my VL is to slow lol). Hey guys, teh 12th of this month is a wed, I am sure you know this, but any way, Myself and another mate look like we are comming up 16th, 17th and 18th of july, We both have VLs - Mine the yellow VLT and his is a N/A Vl slighlty modded, do you guys still cruise the strand on thursday nights? Where you guys and girls meet up friday / saturday use dto live in townsville 2 years ago. so lost touch witht he cruise scene. By thw way this is what it looks like now.... Who is bringing the stuff for the BBQ??? Do we each have to chip in 5 dollars or something, which lets face it, is a cheap lunch... and who is cooking the BBQ, should give the job to one of the older more experienced bbq hands... *looks at both the Tims* You should have a list of definates in the first post and keep editing it as more people say they are going to attend... I seen a red sl vl the other day, looked really stock, but has a pretty hidden cooler, really dark tint and some race seats.... looked awesome... need to get it on the cruise ... Red with black bonet is turbo'd by the way ... there is also another vl that is sometimes at the same house as the red with black bonnet and its blue... need to ask him aswell... If worst comes to worse I will drive Matty G's car so count me in ... I will ask Ben with the black vl aswell, he used to be on the site heaps but then must have lost interest, im sure he'd be keen for a cruise though... Yeah there are so many nice VL's getting around town now. Everytime I go driving wether it's to uni, work or whatever, I see a nice VL. So there's plenty of people we can ask. Jason. PS - Dean, what pistons are in your engine? The hypertech cast ones right?

this is awesome, i am starting to look forward to it. i asked the black n/a one the other day at a set of lights and he said he might come. i am staying clear of all the beat up looking ones because they look, how can i say it.....sh1t and thrashed (no offense i hope). how bout someone just buys a ****load of snags or something (me prehaps? i can get em cheaper if i am lucky) and u guys just throw a couple of bucks my/their way or something? i dunno, shoot back and tell me

Prebuy it all then everyone bring say $5 on the day to cover the costs and if there's any change left over we'll work out the differences and give it back ofcourse. Jason. yea too easy, i can do that if needed like i have said. an old neighbour is a butcher so that is too easy and i can just go to woolies before it closes and get bread, sauces, etc...but i will leave it up to u jason since you appear to be the organiser so what ever is easier for everyone.

Yeah. Count me in unless I sell/ break something. I will ask Brenley (orange turbo walky, was at ingham last year) and Ben(nice berlina turbo) tomorrow. Going in to panel shop on monday to organise and LE front bar for my car.

I should be able to make it in 4 weeks time depends on when my turbo and cam get back ... but I have say it will look like a beat up old junk piece of **** :P
