well when i got the car i was told it's a s1 but i will post some pics of the interior....

if its 88 then it has to be series 2 dude, no 2 ways about it.... very nice car too

yea it's definitely 88 but it thought S11 had a sunroof??

^^ nah sunroof was a option on all calais', not just s11's

but then again pics arnt that good but are those chrome door handles? i think they only came out in s1 calais,unless you installed them, s2 have black

yea they were black but i painted them chrome a few weeks back...

All VLs built from around september/october 1987 onwards are series 2, which makes this one a series 2. I've noticed that early series 1 VLs seem to be built with silver door handles and the later series 1s had black ones. I think this is due to using up stocks of silver handles from the VK. All series 2s had black handles.

wat about the window surrounds have they been painted?

yea mate i painted them white cause b4 with the dark tint then doors were the same colour n it was all black but i seen the standard vl's n they looked better so i got em white
