Hey Guys, As some of you may know, on a weekly basis, myself and a few other on this forum plus many others from the area and other car clubs meet up at La perouse. For those wanting to join us, i am making this thread which will provide directions, times and other info that will help you out if you want to meet up with us. La Perouse (La pa) is located on the northern head of Botany Bay, it can be seen from Brighton le Sands. From Brighton La pa is only 10 mins away, and lately has had alot of people with their rides showing up on suday nights. DIRECTIONS From Brighton, to get to La pa, you want to head north along General Homles Drive, towards the airport tunnel. Go through the tunnel and move into the right hand lanes. Not far after the tunnel exit, and once ur into the right hand lanes, there is a turnoff on the right. You should see a sign saying Botany/ La Perouse, and the name of the road is Forshore Drive/Road. Take this right (goes under an overpass) Once onto Forshore stay the speed limit (90km/h) as cops patrol this road regularly and many have been caugth well over the 90km/h. You want to continue on this road right to the end, through the sets of traffic lights until u get to a T-intersection, take a right and follow this road all the way into La pa. La pa is a giant loop with shops and restaurants on the northern side. Cruise around once or twice to cheak it out (cops and others) and then park where you wish. The bottom back corner seems to be the spot. TIMES The times to be at La pa range from 730pm-800pm, and the night usually lasts till about 10pm-1030pm. Meeting up in Hashams car park i dont think is a good idea as there is one exit/entry point and if the cops come they will shut it off and defect everyone. I find that you want to be in and around brighton at about 745-8pm and when you see others starting to cruise out, follow and head to La pa. DATES Just to keep everyone on the same date, when talking about cruising and meeting up on any given sunday, can we please USE DATES instead of this sunday, last sunday, etc (makes it alot easier) And make sure everyone has at least 3-4 days notice. Remember, we all find it hard to have a good cruise destination so lets not be the minority that ruin it for the majority. Remember hitting 140 with 5 people in my old bmw. Was driving on the dirt and going all over the place. Easy to say that such a experience set my straight (lol). Haha not bad carl, lets just hope theres a few more vls out there this sunday. Theres always guys doing burnouts, donuts, what ever haha. its good fun even just to sit there and watch.

Dont worry bout cops just sit on like 200 so by the time u fly past them, they wont know which way u went, saves u having to only do 90. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

even if anyone is up for a cruise and cant find other calaisturbo members, go to la pa on sundays and u will still have a show.. havent seen any trouble with fights brawls etc yet so i take it that most people are friendly. and i know most of the people there.. Carl

hey paul i sold it and bought a 180 instead.. its in the workshop now, its got a t28 ballbearing, rebuilt gbox new exedy h/duty with short shift etc etc and gets hammered by VLTs lol Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
