thats not a bad deal I just had a look at it mate you would want to change your diff suspension breaks ect to cope with all the new power though

from what ive heard, running a turbo computer is the way to go. Either that or chip your ECU (darkhalf chips you can get through the R31skylineclub site). Your stock ECU wont hack it Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

about how much are the chips worth, and how hard are they to put on?

afaik you send your ECU off to this darkhalf guy, pay him like a hundred bucks, and he sends it back to you chipped. go to www.r31skylineclub.com (http://www.r31skylineclub.com) and sign up at the forums, then do a search. you'll find what you're after real quick. Theres actually a full supercahrger kit on there for sale right now, pretty cheap too. http://forum.r31skylineclub.com/index.php?topic=55512.0 $500 btw, you wont be able to run Poer steering or AC with the supercharger unless you put in custom brackets

yer i already have it lined up to have them moved so i can still use them. ill try to get onto this darkhalf person and see wat he says. thanks mate

i ran mine on the standard VL n/a management and got 131rwkw without any ECU or injector changes. it was making 4psi maximum.

Sorry to hijak, but has anyone on here actually used these CRS kits? I was thinking about getting one but would like to hear how people have gone with them first.

there is a thread that I was reading on here the other day about what a mission it was to supercharge the VL

i just orderd it before, will hopefully have it up and running by next weekend. they told me it would b fine to run with standard computer because the afm will adjust the fuel needed and keep it running well ill let yous kno how it goes.

Yere, I'd be really interested to see how this kit works. Seems like a cheapish way to have a little fun. I've bought stuff from CRS before (a bell housing for a 253 in a Hilux) and never really had a problem with them. Keep me updated, it woul dbe much appreciated Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

god damn that's a heavy rip off.

We have been testing the kit on a VL Nissan and everything has proven 100% reliable and dyno runs have been performed with the below results (see graph to left). On a totally stock motor with only the decompression plate fitted an 80kw reading went to 110kw with no computer modifications. No other modifications have been tested. don't n/a vl's with an exaust and maybe intake make around 100rwkw's.. still be a good change from all the turbo's for you there buddy.

im sorry to say, but that kinda money can build you a fairly high powered 30et. Or drop a 20 in. or damn close to a 25. Second hand for the win as far as SC go. However, since its a propper kit, and the kid seems to have the money.... can anyone say twin-charged? :P
