Hi all
I still have a knock in my springs when i go full lock then back the other way
i jacked it up and took off the front wheels
with the weight off the springs i can move them really easly and i noticed there is no bottom rubber inbetween the spring and where it sits in...
could this be my problem??

i'd check your rack inner tie rod ends for movement (the joints under the boots on the rack)check your bushes in the front end and check if the strut insert retaining nuts are tight(the ones inside the springs)
they dont need bottom strut rubbers

ook i have cheaked inners and outers on both sides..... there good and tight.
Witch one is the strut insert retaining nut?
There is a bit of movement in the universal joint comeing out of the rack to my steering wheel .
Could that be doing it? its just it fells like its in the left strut tower....

i would say its the nut that holds the shock into the strut...inside the spring itself.. mine came loose and knocked
jsut jack up ya car, take off front wheel.. lift big rubber boot inside the spring and tighten nut with big set of multi grips
i got quoted $400 to fix it from a shop, did it with a $12 set of multigrips
