hey guys just wondering how many km's u guys get out of a full tank, and how much power use r running, just curios as i have about 190rwkw and get bout 225km's from a full tank on low boost.
thanks bois George
yeh, unsure on my power yet as we have just built the motor and havnt dynoed it, but with forgies, bigger turbo etc and on low boost with standard injectors for running in it did about 230km on a tank...hmmm ive been driving a n/a calais this week and it does 450km a tank... it is so weird driving around and not having to filll up all the time.....sometimes i start to wonder if its worth it.......hehe but as soon as i jump back in the turbo i realise it is hehe
NA exec. probably on 100kw , getting 500 to a take on average but got 600 give or take 10k's driving to port campbell the other week . Also just to add... Would be great if people could post there ltr per 100km.
(simply divid how many liters you put in the car when filling it by the number of k's done with that tank and multiply by 100)
ie: 36ltr of fuel divided by 340k's =.105 .So... .105 multiplied by 100= 10.5ltr per 100k's.

I usually get about 450 kms and sometimes a little more per full 60 litre tank driving sensibly and light on the throttle occasionally hitting boost.
Power is 195 rwkw
VLCT auto 420 k's approx around town and has seen over 600k on the highway. Power was 151rwkw.
New setup is a heavier on fuel around 360k's in town. Just on 500k's highway.
Power not yet known.

sounds like u need a tune
Why? I used to get 500km's fairly often out of my old VN 5ltr V8, and that was a mix highway and city driving.
If you drive them sedately, or highway, it's fairly easy to get good economy out of a car.
My current car (VL EFI 5L) is lucky to get 400km's out of a tank, I think that's mainly because of the diff gears (3.71's)
And what did you achieve from that post ?? .....
I was talking to Dave, as per I usually do, the tread states nothing about consumption of VLT's now does it??

Yes it can be done. I have achieved it a fair few times. Even the other week up the highway with 3 people and a full boot with the new cam in was just over 500k's.
I believe it has more to do with how you drive it and how you maintain your car than anything else!
