Had a bit of a project car iv'e been playin with for 4-5months iv'e spent alot of time and money on it but it was worth every cent....the car is a week or 2 of bein finished and then i will be selling it to fund another project
i brought it with a stuffed gearbox and diff it already had vt twin piston front brakes, a fresh motor,front mount with polished piping etc
Since i bought it i have had the following things done to it...a fully rebuilt MX7 with RB25 duel syncro gears (same as my 10sec 5 speed) and short shifter, brand new custom exedy 4 puck brass button 400hp clutch, re-cond lsd diff, balanced driveshaft, malpassi reg and boost controller. i had the car tuned with these mods and it made 260.5 rwhp on 9 psi....it's very lively i ran it at the motor plex but the diff centre broke so had 2 back off and still run a 13.70 so it's definently a 12 sec car!!!
cosmetically Ive fitted VR GTS wheels, lowered it, mostly replaced the trim (grey) so it's now unmarked and currently the car is gettin a full $4000 respray top and bottom (white over silver) will get it back mid next week, all with full intention to keep the car
anyway enough said it's basically a new car in every aspect and it would be hard to find a better calais..................im chasin $13 000 or best offer

This car has been nick named 'Chop Chop' because its beaten all other VL's that its raced.... eg Corri's VHELLT and Marks VLT_88 and obviously everything beats Skot's calais

lol steve i havent actually raced it... but we just came to the conclusion it beats mine because it CHOPPED corri...
who ever buys this this is getting an awesome deal!!! this thing flies for what it is and is in awesome condition.

it's a factory turbo calais converted to manual it's got 200k on the clock but like i said all new drive line...and about 20k on the new motor (aparently has forgies but yet to check that out) and highflow turbo, iv'e comp tested and leakdown tested it and it's perfect! interior is grey velour

ahh yes sorry delays with the paint shop but i dont wanna rush them as i dont want it to reflect on the job but i have been assured i will have it back next week

yes very very soon i went and hit up the paint shop today and had a look and i am very impressed.....i dont want to sell it ,they have thrown in a few extras like seam filling the body and boot so it looks a treat all that is left is painting lower half and assembly so midweek i'll chuck some pics up and those interested people can come have a look see!!!
