hey how you going calaise people i own a vl manual berlina with alil bit of work done to it and theres some hard ass guy that goes to my school that owns a 1990 nissan exa turbo C18DET and the idiot wants to run me but he acts all hard and stuff and the youngie is saying for slips lol IDIOT i told him his been watching abit to much FAST AND THE FURIOUS, lol but i wouldnt mind racing him for fun but i dont want the little hardass to brag on if he beats me because he wreckons his exa turbo has 130kw on 6psi and i dont want to run him if he says hes gona run me on 6psi and boosts it to 15 you know and plus i dont know how "quick a vl manual stock is or what kws they have !!! " could anyone tell me PLz. Ive added a 2 and ahalf inch exhaust, on my car and a reco motor, sports filter, cold air induction and advanced the timing so ye do you people think i have a chance if he runs me on 6psi or id get chopped. I just wana see if id win coz i see him at school alot and hes like u still scared 2 run me so yee lol what use think CHEERS DEZ

If you get desperate to beat him in an N/A I guess you could do a few small thing's like get the head shaved, a cam or something? Extractors, if you don't already have them? Maybe head ported and polised? I dunno, just a few suggestions. Probably not worth it but because it would cost you a bit to have done. And also in vl's there is only the rb30, or rb30et (turbo engine) and 304 or 308 or whatever it is, which is the v8. But rb30's are the only 6 cylinder in them. Jason.

Hey DEZ, im doin the turbo converion now, im nearly finished all i need is a few banjo bolts and Nuts for my exhaust and im off... Problem is i need to get a blue slip and engineers for it to be legal... so im looking at around 200 to 400 bucks there depending on the engineer.. Add that price to all my other expenses on the turbo conversion and ur looking at 2300+.. If u wanna do the turbo conversion be prepared to pay up.. IF You where to just work the motor now in NA form (eg Cam, ECU CHip, Port and Polish Etc) You will most certainly be wasting more money and you will be getting less power from wat a turbo conversion. All i wanna say is dont waste ur money and SAVE UP!!! I understand u wanna fast car NOW but it wont happen if u dont hav the money... My advice is save up and buy ur dream machine and in the end you will get the last laugh and past the finish line first, and you wont be stressing about how much time and money you wasted on a slow and problamatic Turbo Converted VL..
